Implementation Committee on Technology Transfer (PICTT)<\/strong>, established through an agreement between Nigeria (represented by NASENI) and the Czech Republic (represented by TA CR), aims to foster the adoption of technological solutions across various sectors of Nigeria\u2019s economy.<\/p><p>On <strong>May 18, 2022<\/strong>, PICTT opened a <strong>Call for Public Proposals for Joint Research and Development (R&amp;D) Projects<\/strong>, which closed on <strong>July 13, 2022<\/strong>. The focus areas included:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Agricultural and Food Technology<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Mining and Industrial Development<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>General Manufacturing for SME Development<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><p>The call received <strong>285 proposals<\/strong> from Nigerian companies and researchers. After a rigorous evaluation process, <strong>10 Nigerian-registered companies<\/strong> were selected for funding under the <strong>Delta-2 Programme<\/strong> in 2023.<\/p><p>To ensure successful implementation, PICTT and NASENI have established a joint <strong>Monitoring and Evaluation (M&amp;E) team<\/strong> to oversee the projects from start to completion, including commercialization of the resulting innovations. The next phase involves finalizing consortiums, pairing selected Nigerian R&amp;D organizations with Czech counterparts, followed by formal implementation preparations.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-896c152 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"896c152\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>The following registered companies and projects are among the ten (10) successful applicants selected for funding.:<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b84961c elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b84961c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The PICTT-NASENI has established a joint Monitoring and Evaluation team to oversee the implementation of the selected projects from inception, through to execution and commercialization of the resulting R&amp;D.<\/p><p>Following this announcement, the PICTT will proceed to complete the consortiums consisting of R&amp;D organizations based in the Czech Republic making up one side of the partnership, and R&amp;D organizations based in Nigeria making up the other side of the partnership.
