About the Presidential Implementation Committee on Technology Transfer

The Presidential Implementation Committee on Technology Transfer (PICTT) serves as a strategic national platform for the coordination and implementation of technology transfer initiatives, international cooperation, research collaboration, innovation programmes and industrial development.

The Committee reflects Nigeria’s commitment to leveraging science, technology, research and innovation to strengthen domestic capabilities, promote industrialization and support sustainable economic development.

PICTT facilitates cooperation among government institutions, research organizations, academia, industry and international partners to promote knowledge exchange, technical cooperation, capacity development, technology localization and the commercialization of research and innovation.

Through its programmes and strategic initiatives, PICTT seeks to translate international cooperation and technological knowledge into practical outcomes that support local production, skills development, innovation, industrial development and national competitiveness.
